Sound Healing

What is sound healing?

Have you ever heard a song or piece of music that has made you emotional, maybe enough to make you cry? You’ve experienced a type of sound healing if so.

Sound healing therapy uses aspects of music to improve physical and emotional health and well-being.

Sound can be used to heal the body both audibly and physically and recent research has linked music to a number of health benefits, from boosting immune function and lowering stress levels to improving the health of premature babies.

Who benefits from sound healing?

Anyone and everyone can benefit from sound healing. It is a universal tool that is able to be practiced as part of a group or solo.

My aim, as a sound healing practitioner and guide, is for you to feel rested, calm and safe to release in your own way. There’s no right way to find release and healing, it’s unique to all. Some people sleep and some people weep.

What sort of sound healing does YWT do?
