Nutritional 101

Eating healthy and planning food doesn’t have to be a chore, nor it be boring. Why is it that many of us (and I talk from personal experience) decide to go on a health kick because we’ve had a stent of unhealthy lifestyle and diet – and as a consequence feel gross?

Prime example, Christmas. Mince pies, pastries, over indulging in those ‘treats’. Yeah, maybe we felt great at the time of indulgence but 9/10 of us will feel lethargic, sluggish and bloated after too much.

My personal experience with this plan.

Due to previous experience with an eating disorder, this plan was great for me as there is no emphasis on weight or fat loss, the main goal and purpose of this plan is to FEEL better. I actually lost no weight as such but did drop 1.5 dress sizes due to reduced bloat.

The support group was fantastic and, as I wasn’t using Facebook at the time, I had my recipe ideas emailed to me. My family and I cooked together and they loved it so much that they joined the plan too. The best week, for me personally, was week3 – the deep cleanse week. I won’t tell you too much because I want you to experience it yourself first – and then we can talk about it 😉
