Founder of Yoga with Tilly

Yoga with Tilly has been running for a little over three years and it is constantly evolving. It started with providing yoga classes, now sound healing, massage, facials and dance fitness (and soon reiki) is available. Yoga means UNION, which means that as long as you are connecting with your self, unapologetically and unconditionally, then you are doing yoga.

What is important to me holding space to provide students with the tools to embark on their own yoga journey, their own journey of acceptance, love and stability.

So, why is Yoga so special to me?

I first started taking yoga seriously when I was advised to try it out during hospitalisation for anorexia nervosa – no medicine or clinical could have me feel more at home and more accepting of my self. Yoga has taught me to let go and embrace what is needed to evolve and love. 

I never imagined I’d end up teaching, it sort of happened that I wanted to train and teach as a hobby. I trained in Sydney Australia and obtained certificates II,III,IV & V in Sports Coaching with Yoga and Pilates. 

My path, before yoga, was full of bumps and obstacles that I feared and couldn’t move past and so I kept changing tack. Now with yoga in my life, I know where I want to be and those bumps and obstacles are always going to be there, but I have more resilience, confidence and patience to get past them.

Some of the things I love to do outside of teaching.

Some of my favourite things to do, to raise my energy and vibration, are Yoga with Meditation, Dance and hands on therapy such as hands-on Reiki or massage. I also love getting outdoors in open spaces like the beach or playing golf. Being totally honest, I also enjoy a cheeky glass of wine, long baths with a face mask and watching tacky TV or binge-watching married at first sight and RuPaul’s Drag Race (no apology here!).

Hatha Flow, Yin, Pilates Fusion, Prenatal Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Zumba, Sound Baths.
